Sir:

A Military company of this city intend given a ball on Monday night, the 5th inst, at which Gen. Taylor and suite are expected to be present. It would be to the company a great pleasure if you would honor them with your presence as well as those of your suite.

As the ball is given to such military companies as may be present on the 5th of March it would afford them great pleasure to meet you on that occasion.
